*OT* Ed, this is the last post I will post you, because you do not deserve the courtesy. You can not go on a public forum and accuse people of being sexist (or racist or other horrible things) without being extremely sure what you are talking about....There is nothing in my post that points to being a sexist, if you think about it for a while..
The reason why the CEO will not be able to fix HP hardware business is that NO ONE can fix their hardware problems (in their current state).........this was implied, but not directly stated in the post (do we now have to post everything LITERALLY for those unwilling to make a little effort?)........for one who has more than once (without similiar provocation) challenged a threadster's "intellect"...you should have recognized this.......additionally, if you, at all, had been following this thread, you would know that I have (even going back more than a year) predicted that HP will exit large sections of the hardware business....because they are not competitive.....I was critical of Lew (Lewis Platt) try to "stay in the game"...but, again, you would not have needed to be following this thread to understand my point....in fact, the least likely possible meaning (of my post) was that I thought Carly is going to fail BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN (sexist)...However, you chose to "go for it" without first thinking "hey, maybe there is another point here"....
