We are taking this opportunity to lower our 4Q estimate as well as our full-
year 2000 number. Knight/Trimark's earnings can be highly volatile and we
have decided to take a more conservative approach to our forecasting. Our
1999 estimate falls from $1.46 to $1.34 and 2000 drops to $1.59 from $1.72.

The above is from H&Q, according to the YHOO thread. Given that 1Q was .34 and 2Q was .43,
H&Q is calling for 25 cents in the 3Q and 29 cents in the 4Q.

There is an interesting discussion in the H&Q report about md-point pricing. It seems NITE
began this program late last quarter, and with the lowered volatility this quarter it has
cut back on revenues. This is something we hadn't considered in just looking at volumes.
