Interesting Facts/Parallelisms:

-A string of executives have left Novell(Chris Stone latest, announced after mkt close last Thurs)
-A string of executives have left Netscape(Marc Andreessen/CTO-last month; Barry Ariko/Deputy GM representing AOL & Netscape in SUNW-Netscape Alliance...announced last Fri after mkt close)

-NOVL stock weak
-SUNW & AOL stocks strong

-After mkt close Fri, SUNW press release indicates that it wants to double authorized shares from 1.8B to 3.6B(currently 781M outstanding + 225M reserved for options...therefore, SUNW would have outstanding about 2B
after split against 3.6B authorized). SUNW says doubling of authorized for stock split plus for "flexibility to issue common for other corporate purposes which may be identified".

Hmmm...interesting set of facts & parallelisms. Is NOVL being brought into the SUNW-Netscape Alliance formed by AOL & SUNW...through a partial or total buyout, by SUNW or AOL or both? Does DigitalMe tie into all of this?

Well, we should know something soon...TOMORROW?!
