Wayne, i agree with you on the manipulation issue...it is pretty obvious that it happens all the time, and that should be no surprise. all bubbles in financial assets in the past have been accompanied by manipulation on a grand scale. it usually all comes out into the open once the bubble pops, so i guess we'll have to wait for that to learn the true extent of what's going on...looking forward to the congressional investigations that will undoubtedly follow in the wake of the bubble's bursting to in order to find suitable scapegoats.
according to Alan Abelson, the first group that's likely to be blamed are the short sellers <GGG>.
