<In the near term I agree with you, cash is queen!> The uptick in gold prices, in addition to the tight job market, among other fear factors will more than likely change the bias toward tightening. Still, I haven't ruled out a rate increase tomorrow, contrary to what seems to be the consensus opinion... Feel relieved to play out this angst in mostly cash.
