The real issue here is not money in my opinion but.....

who controls STS and the people behind the scenes who have or
want the Yetwene concession. There have been instances before
where the big boys cannot let a little player succeed because
they want it all for themselves. Now the question is who
is causing this grief? We all might be able to speculate on this
question but, it seems it all comes back to the VSE and whose
interests are being served for not permitting the pp that was
recently done. I quote the recent STS press release dated April 4, 1997

" Mr. Harry Bristman reports Further to news in Stockwatch
March 24 1997 of a private placement, preliminary advice from
the regulatory authorities indicated that one corporate
investor would not be acceptable to the VSE."

I ask everyone, what does preliminary advice from the regulatory
authorities mean? Also, what exactly does it mean "the regulatory
authorities indicated that one corporate investor would not be
acceptable to the VSE?"

Who are the regulatory authorities then??

My fellow STS shareholders I certainly would not be interested
in giving more money to the STS management as Mr. Dick Roy
suggested in his forum response, because I feel that the
management is not really giving us shareholders the real story
as to what is going on.

What has happened here so far, is that some "regulatory authority"
has written the obituary on a patient who is not dead yet and
the patient is saying I like the obituary so its OK with me.
I would certainly like to see the company mangement stand up for
the rights of us little shareholders for a change and not be
subjected to a steam roller clique in Vancouver who doesn't
like certain investors who are willing and able to save STS
and us little shareholders from getting the royal shaft from the
big boys!!!!!

P.S. Now I agree with the statement that I have heard said many
times....if you invest in VSE stocks it's like rolling the dice
in Las Vegas and the house always wins!!!!!!!
