Actually the information came from a book called "The Great Boom Ahead" By? I can't recall his name right now. The book was written in the 1980's and the author boldly stated the Dow would hit 8,000 by year two thousand.

He seems to say that the spending will begin to slow by 2003-2004?? What that will do? God only knows how global we will be by then.

Thanx for the comments I will go out get the book you mentioned. I don't buy into much theory unless the numbers are obvious as in the demographics of Baby Boomers.
