Tenchusatsu, Itanium, strange, sounds like the source is the same as Timna. "Itanu" (the I sound being like the vowel in "See"), means "with us", but "eitan" means "strong" or "strong to the core", I would guess the pronunciation would be like the beginning of "Abraham", the first vowel being the "a" in "Gate", and the second vowel like the a in "tap". My guess would be that this is the correct pronunciation, guessing of course that the name was sourced in Israel (like Timna was, the name of the old Solomon copper mines).
Zeev, surely you jest. Or, is it too many moons with your head in the ether of stocks technical analysis? Gotta watch that stuff. Do you mean to say you haven't crossed paths with titanium to date? Lop of the lead T and, voila (I hate it when people misspell voila).
