As a long time HWP holder, I find the recent price action and market news fairly interesting. I just heard on CNBC that Merrill had a private meeting with the CEO after the news on 10/1 that 4Q growth would be "closer to the low end of the 10 - 13% range". According to CNBC the figure quoted in the conference was 7 - 10%. This may explain in part the drop to July prices. I am also concerned about the shares of Agilent per HP share and the IPO. Is this an opportunity to accumulate more HP and acquire more Agilent shares? Are some of the MMs thinking the same way? At this point I just have questions and I would appreciate any opinions.
