that prolly is a true statement. even gmst stayed beaten for 6 months + after the sght merger. check out some of my old agonized posts on the defunct "GMSTF" thread on SI. It all depends on how long it takes WS to realize if the merger made any sense.
otoh(and a counterexample), aol shot up bigtime after its merger with nscp.
i believe this merger makes absolute sense and i choose to vote with my pocketbook.
