(NASDAQ:WWES - news) today announced that its Internet subsidiary, Sportcut.com, Inc. has appointed Jordan Schlachter as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Schlachter replaces R. Michael Bermeo effecting a management transition from Bsquared Communications, Inc., a strategic marketing and technology firm developing the project, to a dedicated Sportcut.com staff.
Prior to joining Sportcut.com, Mr. Schlachter was employed by the National Basketball Association since 1991. Most recently he was Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and previously was Director of Business Development and Operations for the Consumer Products Group of NBA Properties. His experience includes financial operations, business planning, marketing and administration. Mr. Schlachter received a B.A. from Harvard University and a M.B.A. from New York University.
