Sometimes we hear the geese flying at night... usually a full moon night when they do that. They tend not to honk as much then... it's more of a whooshing noise of strong wingbeats. On those nights, we sometimes stand on the lawn with a good flashlight and shine it towards them... Very neat to see those big silvery grey shapes moving through the night sky...
