I don't have to justify my investment decisions to you, twister, nor does anybody else. If you think my decision process is as you describe, then why should I bother disillusioning you?

That said, let me point out what should be obvious even to you:

There's this little thing called the Internet which is becoming pervasive, and Sun is in a prime position to benefit from it -- already has been, in fact.

Go bother the MSFT thread with your P/E arguments -- they're more appropriate over there. Or, if you really believe what you say, why not act on it by shorting the h*ll out of SUNW? I've already acted on MY convictions, and told you so.

JMHO, as always. What's right for me might or not be right for you, so everybody should do their own research and form their own conclusions.
