What Rambus needs is a true solution to the current problems. To try to cover the problems with PR may backfire and cause them to become the butt of jokes. Once that happens it becomes hard to undo later. (I expect that you didn't really mean to say Public Relations but rather solve the problems and convey that solution to the users.)
