Lindsey was not the scapegoat as she too came to understand what had happened. When she says to Bobby, "you know we share the phone" and the light dawns Bobby tells her to just keep reading her book.

Helen will probably figure it all out too and the cop might try to cause problems for her by revealing that Helen coached her to lie on the witness stand. Helen told the cop that she, Helen, never makes a mistake. While the mistake could be not knowing of the cops involvement in the murder the coaching might also become a potential issue.

Still like the show but feel it will not last for more than this season and the next.
