Kazz Industries has announced that identity, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, has received an outstanding response to its new e-commerce Web site, identitysnowboards.com. The Web site, which was established for a test trial in September, 1999, has recorded in excess of 100,000 hits to date (based upon statistics provided by Cyberport, the identitysnowboards.com server). The company considers these results very promising considering that the Web site is not currently registered with any search engines. The September test trial resulted in improvements to the Web site, which is now ready to process orders. The company intends to submit the identitysnowboards.com Web site to over 200 search engines as part of its expanded marketing campaign. The company anticipates that this additional exposure will dramatically increase the number of hits. The completion of the Web site comes just in time for the major consumer buying cycle of snowboards, which begins in October and November.
