Floyd certainly change the expression "When pigs fly...."

I caught 6 concerts, mostly in Europe and they were diffently awesome.

One of my favorite concerts was Bob Dylan's only German concert, on Jul 1, 1978, at Nurnburg's Zeppenlinfeld. This is a place that Nazi propoganda video would show Hitler giving speeches from a huge concrete monolith to massive formations. It still stands and Dylan played opposite it with a laser show bouncing off it. It was an all day affair with Clapton, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee, Vince Weber and Lake. To hear "Masters of War" and "It's Alright Maw, I'm only bleeding" with Clapton on lead was jsut incredible. I've seen Dylan before in concert, but on this day he was in rare and top form, bellowing out those nasal lyrics crisply and succinctly. I don't think the significants of the place or the irony escape him as he specified the venue. As I recall, it was the first time a concert was held there.

Then there is Canada's own....Neil Young.
