dak, Virtually no gold news while sampling local press over the weekend. Thought some smaller papers would have reported on the largest weekly gain in 17 years, but coverage seems confined to the NY Times, Wall St. Journal and the like. Many of the smaller papers no longer report the gold price. Perhaps readers will now start asking for daily quotes and perhaps some substantial coverage. Does the price need to hit $500 USD before it's a story?
