Samsung is developing chipset for its handset. Competition is looming. Once you
found yourself competing against Korean, you are doomed. (e.g. Disk drives,
Drams)

How can you have lurked on this thread and not know that QCOM will
receive a royalty on other manufacturers ASIC's?

If Samsung are developing their own CDMA ASIC, why do you think they will be more succesful than say Nokia, Ericsson, Seimens or Philips?
How long do you think it will take them?

Why haven't Samsung developed their own GSM ASIC? It's a lot easier to do than CDMA.

Good luck shorting QCOM. I expect to see you shirtless.

PS - you will have better luck with your nonsense on the Yahoo board.
