Ten - re: 'Better to just shrink K6-3 to the 0.18 micron process. Or even shrink K6-2 and jack up the clock speeds." My gut feel is that AMD will DISCONTINUE the K6-3 real soon and the K6-2 will be discontinued early next year. They can't afford to pour money into a product that IS LOSING - and will CONTINUE to LOSE - money, hand over fist. Paul
