Oh boy - you do need a T-1 line but probably more affordable would be ISDN, xDSL or a cable modem, an Ethernet hub and a pile of cards. :-) I also hear that IBM Home Director works pretty well even with several PCs connected and it's selling at a very reasonable price.

Yes, there is one problem should you call 911 over your onephoneline connection - the caller ID they like to see at the dispatch station would show your ISP as having originated the call since it went out through their line.

Incidentally, have you looked at some of the services they're providing along with the service? Looks like they expect to get some of their profits from providing the FAX services and they're also probably getting the LD in bulk: onephoneline.net
