Oracle, the arbitrage gang will, as you say, "do their thing". . .and I don't think we will see anything similar to QCOM. . .I think the main reason for that big move is that they were on the cutting edge of personal cellular technology. . .the Ericsson deal was merely the catalyst.

Sorry, I don't know enough about GMST, and how GMST has something that everyone wants or needs. . . isn't coming to mind. As for TV Guide, I am already getting my television listings from AtHome and Yahoo. . .and there is no mention of TVGuide there. . . so my first impression is that portals and other home page oriented sites will do to TVGuide what the local papers TV Listings pull-out section did to TVGIAs check out line impulse sales during the 80's. . .

T was lucky to find a buyer, in my opinion.

But talk about lucky sellers. . .the largest merger in history with MCI WCOM and Sprint. . .but think of this sobering thought. . . when global internet telephony is commonplace via fibre-optic internet connections. . .how will this cut into traditional long-distance telephone revenues?

I can hear them in the board room of Sprint. . .man, did we ever get out just in time. . . did you see those long range projections? Whoopeee.

These are just my opinions.
