I took a look at the gold charts and so far I really dont see anything convincing that we are near a top.

What needs to be remembered is that the severe SECTOR ROTATION is still alive and well, and should exaggerate moves to the upside as it has done in the past with other sectors. It was amusing to note that some who were bullish for the overall market did not want to accept the bullishness in gold since it is not positive for the overall market. Such just showed a lack of objectivity, since once this SECTOR ROTATION hits it really moves as witnessed in the past.

With SECTOR ROTATION hitting gold, who knows where the top is, and I sure wont attempt to call where the top is, but it will come down eventually.
