Interactive Telesis Schedules 1999 Annual General Meeting in San Diego

Meeting To Be Held at San Diego's U.S. Grant Hotel -- Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999

SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1999--Interactive Telesis Inc. (ITI) (OTCBB:TSIS - news), a leader in interactive communications, today announced that its 1999 Annual General Meeting for shareholders will be held at the U.S. Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego on Saturday, Nov. 13, 1999, at 2:00 p.m.

The U.S. Grant Hotel is located at 326 Broadway, San Diego, across from Horton Plaza. Call 800/237-5029 for room reservation information.

Shareholder proxy information, including audited financial statements and proxy circular, are being sent to shareholders this month. Shareholders wishing to ensure that their contact information is current with the company and wishing to expedite receipt of the annual shareholder information may call the Investor Relations Department at 888/546-2957 to update their information.

The company will hold an open house at its corporate offices in Encinitas, Calif. on Friday, Nov. 12, 1999, from 3-5 p.m. The offices are located at 535 Encinitas Blvd, Suite 116, approximately 25 miles north of San Diego. We invite all company shareholders, interested investors and observers to visit our offices and staff.

A digital audio recording of the meeting will be made available through a company Web site the week following the event. In addition, Interactive Telesis will make its first edition of a new Prepaid Calling Card, with the first 15 minutes of calling time free (subject to certain conditions), available to the first 500 shareholders or interested investors to order the card. The prepaid calling card will introduce an Interactive Telesis automated survey demonstration and other features. The telephone number and Web site address to access this recording and to order the prepaid phone card will be announced by the second week of November 1999.
