Mark, I've been considering buying a TIVO. It just sounds too cool to pass on. With all the interruptions I have, I don't remember the last time I was able to watch a program from beginning to end. Anyway, I went to the web site and found that the two machines offered are 14 hours for $500 and 30 hours for $1,000. I decided to wait because, as we on this thread know, disk drives, especially high-end ones, are getting bigger and cheaper. I think I will buy one early next year after the Christmas push is over and the price comes down. Maybe I'll even get the stock if it comes down too. -Robert PS.
