[Licensing and Insider Selling] - Pat I hope you didn't type all the info from the Orckit perspective on my behalf :). I read the whole thing before taking my position. IMO, most of it is standard boiler plate that all high techs must include these days (Amati sure has their fair share of warnings).. My point was/is that in looking at the players today, I don't think the licensing is a major road block for any company, nor do I believe it is a money maker for Amati. After all "fair and equitable price" is a pretty vague statement. I see the players worrying, as they should, about being first to market and letting the chips fall were they will once market share is obtained.

Not to continue to dwell on this but have you asked RC or anyone at Amati about the other three or four 144's that were filed recently. Edger does not list the 144's but I sure would be interested in seeing just who else sold. I also think that the reply that Steve (?) got from Amati on the question about insider buying was terrible. It shows very little lack of interest in the stockholders, when Amati representitives make a statement that insiders were not buying because they would have to hold for up to six months. These are the reasons I just couldn't hold on any longer. After holding on for over a year and enduring nothing but false hopes, I took my lose. Fortunately, I have recovered all I lost and then some in just a few days. IMHO Amati owes its loyal shareholders, like you, more respect and consideration than they have been showing. Even if you have been able to lighten up on this severe decline, as you were able to last year, I hope you still will demand more from Amati in the future.
