Dead and Kinks for concerts (probably because I saw them the most).

But when the Dead would go into one of their jams, rolling from electric guitar riffs and pick'in, then acoustic then soft, lulling you to sleep and then roar out of the box again--Lesh, Weir and Garcia--one in particular--Saint Stephen--the audience (Fillmore E., I think) was rolling, floating, stomping on a different planet.

As for Kinks, Dave D no mean picker himself. (Rufian--glad I'm not the only one who remembers Procol Harum fondly. Best guitar--Devil Came from Kansas--Gary Booker was on keyboards, but who was lead guitar---ah! Robin Trower)
