I can understand the weakness of LU (its underperformance is so darn obvious. Even 3Com has moved higher) this past quarter due their ultra-conservative CC regarding the next 3-6 months (Y2K, revenue smoothing etc.) but if after this CC if the stock does not move then we have to face the reality that Lucent is having a tough time transitioning from a phone equipment maker to a data/communications powerhouse. They may have eaten too much and have digestion problems. WS does not like sick heroes. -Hitesh
