Dr.Meade;
I don't do a whole lot of investing in gold stocks, except for the ocassional exploration company. I currently own Hanover Gold and a very small one called Thunder Mountain (JV w/USMX) and I have owned Centurion off and on a number of times. The first time was years ago around $4.00. It does look as if it is about as low as it can go, but I thought that at $1.00 also. Basically, I have tried to focus on silver and some of the base metals (copper, zinc, molybdenum, etc.), things that I think will be needed by industry, etc. It may also be because I have a decent amount of knowledge on the Silver Valley in Idaho and have traded the small silver/lead/zinc companies for years now (the ones near Hecla, Sunshine and Coeur d'Alene Mines). I agree that silver and gold have been a poor investment for a while now, but I also think that is the best time to slowly start obtaining some of the good companies at or near their lows. If/when they do start to move we could see one heck of a run...but it has been a long wait so far. Anyway, enough of my rambling. Good Luck w/SSC and you may take a look at Hanover (HVGO); its a little more longer term but I like its chances.
