One thing that has been overlooked is that all the handset producers should be bidding on this. QCOM has been not so good at making handsets with low cost (i.e. low manufacturing costs) but has always been the highest rated on call quality of any handset made. Any of the handset mfgs should be bidding on this division as it would provide them with an ability to improve their interal radio quality long term. This has a very large intrinsic value. Buying it just for the building, mfg lines, and customer lists will not bring in that much money.

I hope those that are bidding for this are taking this fact into account, as it would give the buyer a distinct advantage over all other producers int he business.
