GENTRY RESOURCES (GNY.B--TSE) PRODUCES ~550 boe/d
This is a somewhat biased viewpoint due to the fact that I am Gentry's Manager of Investor Relations. But take a look at the Thread. 1996 year end for Gentry was as follows: $3.2 million in revenue, $0.06 cash flow, and $0.02 earning per share.
1997 should see at estimated $6.0 million in revenue, $0.20 cash flow per share, and $0.10 earnings per share based only on Canadian production figures.
Gentry has a 11% working interest in an offshore oil exploration license in the Ivory Coast. Partnered with Ranger Oil (operator), Clyde Petroleum (a subsidiary of Gulf Canada), and Energy Africa. Also, Gentry will be spudding a well in Australia on a on-shore 425,000 acre property located in the oil producing region of the prolific Cooper Basin,Queensland. Gentry is just closing an institutional financing and the mutual funds taking down offering will be made public next week. Look for two more West Africa properties to also be announced short term, one will definately add to Gentry's bottem line due to the size of Gentry's interest and the fact that there is a proven reserve situated on the property.
Remember the 1997 figures quoted above for cash flow, revenue and earnings per share, do not include any of these international properties and any addition to Gentry's bottem line will significantly affect Gentry's stock price.
