Even though I personally think it was,I never said the country was founded as a "Christian nation", Mark. I am saying that to try and prove, as many atheists would like to, that this country was NOT founded by Christian men, won't fly. And the VERY FACT that you have freedom to worship as you wish, was given by Christian men, because I suspect if men who denied God were to found this nation, it would have fallen long ago as any great power, and you would NOT be allowed to even speak of God. Look around the world even in this age of modernism, media access, etc and you will STILL find Christians being persecuted, so you think it could not happen here?

WE will, if you wish, go quote for quote with reference to reference, on the original signers of the Declaration. That will be a good start. Meanwhile here is an interesting quote by one of those who was supposedly not a Christian.

"THE BIBLE IS WORTH ALL OTHER BOOKS WHICH HAVE EVER BEEN PRINTED.

Who said that and why is that little blurb important?? Listen to the words of Jesus.

"Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall. If Satan is divided against himself, how can his kingdom stand?

Even a closet atheist would not divide his kingdom...

btw, the quote above? Patrick Henry.
