Caxton: I went to local Best Buy Sunday and tried to get a Q2760; no go, all sold out; only dual band CDMA offered was Sprint PCS touchpoint; its a dual band, with larger screen and touted as most compatible with new Sprint wireless internet service deal.
Called Sprint equipment sales number, asked about availability of 2760; was told they recieved allocation of them last Friday(10/1); I called this Monday and they had already sold out.
Now I can't get data communications pack for touchpoint; told I would have to wait"3 to 4 weeks"; sounded vague.
Guess I'll have to drive down to Sprint San Francisco store to get the 2760.
BTW: most knowledgeable Best Buy cell salesperson, when asked which phone he would use, immediately said the Qualcomm phone was best.
Regards,
James
