Traveler, your scenario is based on the LFT owning some sort of production rights to the (central Texas) properties in question. Wouldn't that mean their name would have to show up on some official filing such as a UCC, and/or as a lessee or operator on a contract? A UCC search comes up empty for LFT and Wilcher. A search of production records finds a "J W Wilcher". It's from this year so I would expect if it were the Wilcher of the LFT, it would say "J B Wilcher", but I don't know for sure.
