Hi, Ed. I have many Qs re: Ur post re: Ian and $2,800. Please reply. First of all 20 years ago, would be 1979ish, correct?
1) Now was Ian's $2,800 price projection made with any basis? 2) Was that $2,800 price projection made prior to the ensuing enormous Gold rally to $850+ or after? 3) Did Ian state his set of indicators? 4) Did he make any timeframe statements, such as WHEN it would occur? 5) If certain conditions were violated, did Ian state that they had changed and that the price projection was invalidated or just postponed? 6) Did you lose any money based upon any personal decisions to act or withhold action based on that $2,800 POG projection.
I only became a participant in the goldmarket, in the physical buying and selling of coins, around that time and had never heard of Ian McAvity back then.
Therefore, I was not a subscriber at that time. I'd really like to know the Volume and Issue Number where Ian made that price projection. I'd like to do some follow up re: that price projection.
I've made no bones about the fact that I believe Ian is the sharpest precious metal technician around, bar none. Therefore, that set of utterances is of tremendous personal interest and I would personally like to review them if you would assist by answering the above questions.
I'd really like to read that issue or series of issues if you still have them, but would understand if you discarded them because of your disgust.
P.S. Have you ever lost any money based on Ian's Looking forward to your reply, Ed. Thanks!!!
