There are three (3) kinds of people in this world - Those who can add - and those who can't. What's the difference between a psychotic and a neurotic?? The psychotic believes 2+2 = 5 The neurotic thinks it's 4 - but he's worried about it. Why don't they put 4 doors on a chicken coop? Then it would be a chicken-sedan Gee-golly - So much of everything else today wasn't funny at all so I threw these in for some small comic relief. To paraphrase all that stuff I read today: "The principal owners and insiders of Scangraphics have been acting like totally selfish scumbags with the fiscal integrity of a Democratic Congress - and the self-remuneration sensitivity of Reagan Republicans. They're out of money - they got nuthin' worth sellin 'cept a worthless deed won in a poker game - and if you stay in SCNG the Catholics won't even let you into Purgatory 'cause you're too damn stupid!!!!!" Really?? Let's see - Mr. Trolio starts the company some 20 years back - builds a decent business - keeps about 25% ownership - and sets out to push the company into the 21st century as he reaches the age of retirement. He does the things all expanding companies seem to - sees nothing wrong that his loyal insiders are handsomely paid - develops ties with major companies and industry - and prepares to hand off his business to a seasoned team of professionals - who (and I'm just guessing here) - probably want to be paid commensurately. Let's see - We are absentee owners - we deposit money with our broker for the stock and do nothing more than we do at the bank for a savings account - and Mr. Trolio is supposed to be impressed and responsive to our investment time frame?? I - like many - get a twinge of nervousness when I read continual postings of how someone has been mislead by a SCNG spokesperson. Unless that spokesperson is Mr. O or Mr. T - that spokesman does not run the company and is always subject to error. Let's call a shovel a shovel - Either a spokesman was wrong - or they were a liar. If they lied to you - do something about it - file a complaint with the SCNG board - the SEC - NASD - NYPDBLUE - and lets get to the bottom of it. It seems patently unfair to put forth only one side of a conversation which if true could have a huge negative impact on our investment. Being as the naysayers must still be invested - seems like it should be incumbent upon them to get the company to answer in a public forum. Seems to me the company has tried to on this board - and perhaps it has been unsatisfactory. In that case - why are you still here??? So the question of the day is: Why would smart guys like Trolio and Mulshine who own over 25% of SCNG stock - be doing all of this so-called and (questionably legal) horse shit and risk legal action or risk reducing their stock value to peanut shells??? Figure it out - if SCNG stock goes up 1 dollar - MM makes close to half a million. How much is his annual SCNG salary? On the other hand - the NAysayers could very well be right. But I tend to believe my research - and tend to believe in people's words as a rule - Heck - I even think my wife is faithful - but then thats what living in Alaska can do to you - where the male-female ratio ain't all that spectacular.
