Yeah, and the internet just turn 30. Where was Gore in 1969?

Gore created another controversy when he claimed that Eric Segal based "Love Story" on himself and Tipper. Eris Segal was forced to issue a public denial.

Or when Gore made his dead sister a political prop: Gore claimed that he became anti-tobacco when his sister died from tobacco related illness. That was not only untrue but Gore actually had gone back to TN and had campaigned in tobacco districts citing his backing of tobacco and how he had grown it, cut it and stacked it.

The Gore family continued to receive tobacco payments for years after his supposed conversion.
