Yes, that is understandable. And exactly what CNBC wanted. When Blodget came out with his Holiday Basket, CNBC repeated it every hour for 3 days.

When Blodgett had an interview in the LA times, where he stated most internut stocks would decine 75%, it was not mentioned once. And it still hasnt been mentioned.

William says "its not news" but obviously Blodget's bosses made a few calls to CNBC. After all, CNBC is part owner of an ECN, and internuts account for a large portion of that ECN volume. (revenue) If people get out of the nuts, their profits drop.
