Interesting data! Where did you get it? The argument is that when baby boomers start to retire they'll stop earning, stop putting money in their 401k and IRAs and start taking it out, and reallocate their portfolios to have more income and fewer growth stocks. I've seen these data presented in a graphical format that made the 2011 date more clear. I'll look for it.
