If a red hot company like QCOM warned through its favorite analyst before a big analysts meeting, don't you worry? Do you really think the company is going to announce fantastic news at the conference? I don't think so.

My credibility and my behavior are just fine. Who told you that someone making bearish comments about a stock is considered having behavior problem? Didn't I tell you QCOM was about to go down? I am expecting you to give me some more credibility. Well, let me tell you some more : it is my honest opinion, you haven't seen the bottom on this one yet. Not to scare you. Just I don't like the chart at all. If you like it, you are free to buy more and to post bullish comments here. I won't stop you. But, Am I allowed to post my honest opinion if I want to?

Our eyeballs are looking at the same things: news and charts. only interpretation is different. I think I have given you enough of my interpretations. In fact, that is the exact reason you are complaining about. You just want to shot up my mouth. BTW, I do not want to see you or anyone lose money. That's why I am giving you warnings. I am not sure how low this thing could go. But, most likely, it will go lower. Of course, I could be wrong even with my honest opinion.

Well, this quarter is a done deal. The concern is next quarter.(12/99) Stock today responds to the announcement of Q's intent to sell handset unit. When concern for next quarter sets in, you will see selloff again. I decide to stay on the sideline for now. (No flame please, just my opinion, I could be wrong.)

I agree with you. The chart is strengthening. Problem is short term. Could be behind us. I am in now. With a few bucks trading profit to pay Uncle Sam. It's not worth it.

Yes, I am long. The reason I am in is that the cliff has disappeared from my chart. This is a fast changing world! Isn't it?

You are absolutely right. It's NOT worth it. I don't think I will do it again.

Fell out of your chair won't hurt that much as long as you don't fall off the cliff. No cliffs any more. I am sure.

Of course. Do you think I bought back my shares for nothing?
My chart indicates it's going to 200 in a matter of days. Period

I have too many shares to watch it going down 50 points in just a matter of days. (Of course, I dont mind 50 points going up up) I don't think I made a mistake as far as my chart reading is concerned. The cliff was real! Had it not for Q's announcement on handset sale, we would have seen low 140's today. I am much more confident now to own it. and sleep better. Q has made its future roadmap crystal clear.

You maybe right. But, if you own as many shares of QCOM as I do, you will have safety concerns as I have. Now, Q is rapidly approaching 200 as my chart had so accurately predicted. I have no complaint. I will look at my chart again this weekend. So far my feeling is that I don't need to take any action. Just ride the market up since the uptrend will continue...Does this thought process make sense?

Jim, the minor correction of this morning makes your prediction of 225 more achievable near term. My chart agrees with you. I am holding until 225.

Remember my chart said 225 before Mid-October! Analysts lie all the time. My chart never lies. I would not dare to stay on the sideline, not to mention to short this one

Hey, Don't you have patients to see today, Doc? You have been following me around for a long time. You should have made megatons of money as I have if you had listened to me. Still holding PSFT? I told you to get out at 50's, didn't I? Now, do yourself a favor, listen to me, BUY QCOM!

In my view, the pending announcement of the handset sale will keep the stock afloat. No one wants to miss the fireworks

Looks like its going down. Handset sales has been factored into the price. Short term problem still exists. (eps slowed down)

Hey, I am here. May I help you? Don't weep for me. My money is in CSCO, not bad either. I will be back in QCOM in 170's if it goes down there.
