And as we speak the republican leadership is trying hasten the vote on whether to extend the nuclear test ban treaty knowing that they have enough votes to kill it. Thus they are diligently working to let all hell break loose in Nuclear Testing. Now this is regressive to the limit
And the republican party in total abandoned NAFTA during the Mexican crisis as did the democrats, the administration, led by Clinton refused to let NAFTA die.
Our Military needs to support what is called two MRC's (major regional conflicts) as stated in our defense policy.
If we spent $260B a year to be able to fight global thermonuclear warfare and all out ground war in Europe and regional conflicts in Korea, Asia, or the Gulf in 1985 why does it take the same amount of money to support two MRC's today. And furthermore, why is our Defense budget fives greater than anyone else's with the two closest countries France and England being our Allies. Fat Pork Barrels led by your Republican Leaders that is why.
And you say that China is our enemy because they stole our military secrets. I would call them stupid if they didn't try. Everyone is trying to steal everyone's military secrets all the time. What the hell do you think the NSA and CIA do for a living. Besides, I guess Germany should make us their enemy since the CIA just got caught stealing their secrets.
