Paul and Gerald, re: Itanium It's interesting that Intel's marketing department continues to use techy, serious sounding names. Apple with Macintosh and Imac, and Sun with Java are more "cool". I'm not sure that a cute name would fit Intel's image. I suspect that they wanted a tag that wouldn't turn off "serious" IT professionals, at the same time it could appeal to the masses, a compromise situation. Also the association with golf clubs that are superior and more expensive ain't bad. I'd say A-. John
