 Status of Titan's Recycling Operations

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Titan Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board:
TITT - news) has just learned that their third Tire Recycling Plant, Forest All Industry Corporation,
has survived the earthquake that recently devastated Taiwan. After several days, Titan's officials
were able to make connections with Forest All's plant personnel and were happy to learn that there
was no structural or equipment damage to the recycling plant. The plant, which has maintained
normal scheduled production since March will remain closed for the next two weeks, due to reduced
electrical capacity caused by the toppled power station in central Taiwan. Complete power in that
area is expected to be restored within the next two weeks, at which time the plant will resume
 operation.

Since startup the plant has demonstrated their operations to many interested parties. Groups from
Oregon in the U.S., Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Slovakia, all in Europe, have toured
the facilities and witnessed the operations. Negotiations for a second recycling plant in Taiwan are
 continuing.

Titan's first tire recycling plant in Chung-Ju, South Korea continues to operate at capacity, however,
rather than processing discarded automobile tires, they are running rubber hoses, rubber gaskets,
rubber trim and tennis shoes. Y. J. Chung, Dowon Company president, says, ``During Korea's
economic struggle, recycling these selective products provides the Company with a better profit
margin.' Dowon has markets for all its byproducts which includes selling its carbon black to asphalt
 manufacturers.

Hannam Company, Ltd., Korea's second recycling plant expects to emerge from Bankruptcy
protection as Korea's economy continues to gain strength.
