Hi Tef...

Welcome back in the MSFT thread....

Hey poeple, I have a quandary ....

I someone wants to step to the plate, please do.

If I had $ 20,000 to invest, in what would I invest in ? To complicate matters, I hold a nice number of LEAPS and I actually prefer them to holding common.

My choices are, as far as I can see it...

QCOM --> expensive at $ 195, I already own 1 160 2002 LEAP.

INTC --> I have 400 common, but no LEAPS. And it is still trading 14 $ off it's high or 15%..... Hmmmmmmm

GMST --> Off it's high, but a falling knife right now....
Seems to have a good lock on IPG's for TV's and other devices but

a) the merger will take a long time to close
b) they seem to have overpaid in a major way

On the other hand, they are NOT dependent on any other gorilla for existence, such as INTC for RMBS and MSFT for Citrix.... Better model, All IMHO.

My choices seem to be

1- Buy 300 Gemstar common (and hold on for dear life)
2- Buy 7-9 INTC 2002 80 LEAPS.
3- Buy 3-4 QCOM 2002 200 LEAPS (or whatever 18-20K buy me...)

I already have enough SUNW, MSFT and CSCO, so these are OUT of the running for now.

Any ideas, Oh Gorilla Gamers ?

Take care
Jean
