I don't know what Greenstone's hedge position is. In getting any financing, the provider of funds would likely have required Greenstone to have at least part of the production hedged to guarantee some cash flow. I understand that Greenstone's problems are sourced to operational problems which in turn caused cash flow problems.

The key, I think, is whether the current rise in POG is sustainable.

Greenstone requires capital to fix its operating problems and expand reserves. When a company starts to bleed, no matter how little, the sharks start circling....
