Well, when you think about it, that big white blank response square is the equivalent of an empty sheet of paper. And there's something very satisfying about the click of the keys and seeing your words appear... yes... yes...I would say you have the disease too..
ha.

BTW, I enjoyed the CHarles McDowell article about Reagan--- I think he is one of the "Lexington McDowells", and that article mentioned many of the landmarks I grew up with. If memory serves, Pete's Taxi was Pete Sensabaugh, and I went to school with his son, David, and McCrum's Drugstore was eventually bought by one of my best friends (and fellow cheerleaders) who became a pharmacist. It's so odd to see someone writing about it.

NOW---swales and berms. Hmmm- swales sound like large mutant fishy mammals. Berms---could be-- anything.

"WOUldn;t a berm look just lovely there by the fireplace?"

"Never eat a berm before going to bed."

SHe would have been a pretty girl except for that unfortunate berm on her nose."

"Keep that berm away from me; it bites."
