DORINE 10/05 15:13 MOODY'S MAY RAISE DELL COMPUTER CORP<DELL.O>BAA1 SENIOR UNSECURED DEBT RATING (Press release provided by Moody's Investors Service) NEW YORK, Oct 5 - Moody's Investors Service placed its Baa1 senior unsecured and bank debt ratings for Dell Computer Corporation on review for possible upgrade. Since April 1998, when Moody's last confirmed Dell's Baa1 rating, the computer maker has produced exceptionally strong results and, by most measures, outperformed its rivals.
