Well, we kinda already have a swale, it's the berm we need, I think. But then, the problem is what to do with the water if it doesn't go down the drain. That's one reason I was thinking pond . . . . and then there's the problem of whether the neighbors use poisons on their yards, which I'll bet they do, it being the American way to poison your yard, and all. And now I read that there are issues with water lilies, for goodness sake. They aren't native to the American landscape. This is worse than buying a breakfast cereal. Too much free choice.
