What happened is that they wasted a lot of money on advertising to the consumer market, without significant results. The government business is carrying them, earnings-wise (of course, investor money is what is REALLY carrying them...), yet they threw money at an unwinnable consumer war. A cynic would suggest that the real target of the advertising was investors, though... I hope they re-focus on the business that they have an apparent lock on - electronic delivery of software to government agencies and large businesses.
