I am willing to applaud Intels engineers if they have improved the core. I had expected to see SPEC numbers. I would like to see them too, but we may have to wait for official product launch. <Intel has chosen NOT to publish 600B spec numbers to show off the 133Mhz bus.> Since the i820 is not currently available, this is not that surprising. From what little I know from a distance, Intel doesn't publish benchmarks too often lately on things that aren't available. Looking at the spec.org web site, I don't see too many ommisions, if any, on available products. If I'm wrong on this, I'll retract. <I am concerned that they may pull the same stunt with coppermine. Perhaps show some creative "streaming" benchmarks etc and not even publish SPEC.> I'm fairly certain that Intel will publish spec numbers on Coppermine. Just my unwashed opinion. <Hopefully they will show up soon.> Again, I don't believe Intel publishes this type of data on unreleased product, except under NDA. I believe this to be pretty standard SOP, gauging the recent past. PB
